The string quartet is perhaps the most beloved form of intimate chamber music – ever since the days of Joseph Haydn, often referred to as “the father of the string quartet.”
Each season, some of the world’s finest quartets come to Konserthuset. This time, we welcome Sweden’s Dahlkvist Quartet, Finland’s Meta4, the Czech Pavel Haas Quartet, the multinational Simply Quartet and France’s Quatuor Diotima. The season culminates with the brilliant Spanish ensemble Cuarteto Casals!
